Hi chapsHave some RC40 fighter forks that are working fine - apart from the lockout which is non-functional. Have found the manual and read the bit about repriming a fork that's been laid on its side - and had a damn good bash at it - but nothing seems to be happening.Anyone know just how far down I have to push them to get the oil flow working again? Managed to get it pushed pretty far down but not all the way as I'm only a small chap.Failing that - anyone with ideas as to what else could be wrong - please get back in touch. Make sure the red compression adjuster is 2 turns out from fully screwed in.Take out the wheel and put the dropouts safely on a doormat, push the blue knob down and compress the fork directly with your hands on the top shoulders of the crown; trying to push the fork fully through its travel. It should take approx 2 or 3 pushes and the L/O should start holding the fork down. Pop up the blue knob and your L/O and damping action should be restored.If the red knob is too near either fully-in or fully-out it closes the oil passage and the oil is purged from the cart body. If the L/O isnt working then neither is the damping.If the above solution doesnt work then send it to me for a service.
